Massachusetts Continuing Education Requirements

Completion Reporting

BlueVolt reports completions to Massachusetts Board on every Wednesday.

Requirements

  • BlueVolt courses are approved by the Board of Examiners of Electricians for A, B, C, D, and E license types. Courses are not approved for C & D licenses.
  • Licensees must complete 21 hours of continuing education.
    • 15 hours shall be on topics related to code. A full 15 hours of clock time/facetime is required to complete course.
    • 6 hours shall be on professional development in the subjects of Electrical Code, business, law, first aid, safety, Building Code, and related topics.
  • Courses are offered in partnership with Carosella Electrical Seminars.
