Completion Reporting

  • BlueVolt reports completions to Oklahoma Construction Industries Board every business day.

Requirements

  • Effective 1/1/2026, OK Electrical Journeymen/Contractors are required to earn 12 hours of continuing education every 3 years, including 6 hours of code. The remaining 6 hours may consist of other topics including these:
    • Article 220 – Load Calculations
    • Article 250 – Grounding and Bonding
    • Article 300 – Wiring Methods
    • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety
    • More code change
